Safeguarding at Cambridge School of Bucharest

Cambridge School of Bucharest is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every child. We expect all staff, volunteers, visitors, and external partners to share this commitment. Our approach is rooted in vigilance, transparency, early help, and professional curiosity, ensuring that every decision places the child’s wellbeing at the centre.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Students, parents, staff, and visitors are encouraged to speak to us immediately if they have any concern about a child’s safety or wellbeing. All concerns are taken seriously, handled sensitively, and responded to promptly.

How to Report a Concern

If you are worried about the safety or wellbeing of a child, please contact the Safeguarding Team immediately.

Students can speak to any trusted adult in school or contact the LDCSO or a DCSO directly.

Parents and Carers can report a concern by Emailing the LDCSO or a DCSO. Calling the safeguarding phone number 0746 234 607. Speaking to any member of staff, who will pass the concern on immediately.

All concerns will be treated with respect and confidentiality, and appropriate support will be provided.

Allegations About Staff

Any concern or allegation about the conduct of a member of staff, volunteer, or contractor must be reported immediately.

All allegations are managed in line with our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy, ensuring fairness, transparency, and the safety of all students.

Information for Visitors

All visitors must sign in at the Guard House and wear a visitor badge at all times. If you have any safeguarding concern during your visit, please contact the LDCSO via Reception immediately.
