Sixth Form
The Sixth Form at CSB is a time for students to grow, mature, and gain independence as their prepare for life after graduation. Our dedicated staff provide the guidance and structure necessary to succeed not just on A-Level Examinations, but also at university and beyond.
Sixth Form includes the final two years of study before students graduate. In Year 12, students take a minimum of four courses of their choice which will result in their Advanced Subsidiary (AS) Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) exams.
Beginning in Year 13, students will continue with a minimum of three subjects to complete their A-Level exams and draw their secondary experience to a close.
At CSB, students are able to choose from the following subjects for their AS and A-Level courses:
- Economics, Business, Travel and Tourism
- Physics, Biology, Chemistry
- English Language or Literature in English
- History, Geography
- French
- Mathematics, Further Mathematics
- Computer Science
- Art and Design
- Psychology
Additionally, our students’ timetables include study periods for independent research, exploration, and enrichment. This encourages valuable independent study skills, and gives students time to focus on the areas that interest them most.
Students in our Sixth Form also receive advice and guidance on university admissions to help ensure that they make the right choices of programmes and universities and are well prepared to find success when they graduate from CSB.
