Cambridge School of Bucharest marked its 30th anniversary with a spectacular Summer Fair this academic year. This milestone event was not just a celebration of three decades of education, but also a day dedicated to fostering community spirit and giving back to those in need.
CSB has grown into a leading international British school in Romania, known for its commitment to academic success and the holistic development of every student. The Summer Fair reflected this ethos perfectly, combining joy, compassion, and a deep sense of belonging that defines our school’s community.
The campus was alive with colour and laughter. Picnic blankets and bean bags invited visitors to relax and soak up the atmosphere, while the air was filled with the irresistible scents of delicious dishes prepared by local vendors. Each of these generous businesses pledged a portion of their proceeds to Hospice Casa Speranței, supporting its essential work in providing palliative care to those in need.
The fair was a showcase of talent and creativity, with performances from our own students and staff, as well as local Zumba classes and our after-school ballet and karate clubs. From graceful pirouettes to powerful martial arts demonstrations, every act was met with enthusiastic applause, highlighting the diverse talents nurtured at CSB.
Children and adults alike delighted in the games and activities carefully organised by our staff, who threw themselves into the festivities with infectious enthusiasm. Face painting stations were a hive of activity, as children emerged with bright smiles and vibrant designs that matched the spirit of the day.
A highlight of the event was the raffle, a thrilling experience that featured an impressive selection of prizes. Trips abroad, state-of-the-art laptops, smartphones, and smart watches were among the generous donations that added excitement and anticipation to the day. Thanks to our partners and donors, Obsentum, Horia Tecau, Oliveto, Black by Doncafe, Luxury Dental Clinic, Love You Choux, Hard-Cour, Oh Da!, Cryptodata, Sunrise Yoga, Core and More Pilates, The Royal Family of Romania, Reinsta, Sunrise Villa and Anima Wings, every ticket purchased was a step towards making a meaningful difference.
