Weekly physical education lessons equip our students with a passion for sport, whilst increasing their skills across a range of disciplines. Our Primary and Secondary school are served by an all-weather sports pitch that is used for a number of different team and individual sports. These lessons aim to promote the importance of physical health and wellbeing, and to enhance the self-confidence of our students in their athletic abilities.
Many of our students also take part in extra-curricular sports and athletics, often competing at an international level. In recent years, our pupils have taken part in the Semi Marathon De Saint Denis in Paris, the Interschool Athletics Grand Prix, and a football training session and tournament in Barcelona.
Cambridge School of Bucharest hosts an annual Sports Day during which students and staff are encouraged to take part in a range of sports and activities. This day aims to build skills relating to team work and independence, while reinforcing the school’s commitment to the importance of physical education and healthy lifestyles.
Today has been the final day of a hugely successful Book Week!
