Our School

Our EYFS-Kindergarten aims to provide pupils with the foundation and passion for learning that will carry them through their academic career and beyond.

Through English-only instruction, our pupils are encouraged to cultivate imagination, acquire the confidence to learn and explore, achieve resilience and independence, and to develop a deep sense of curiosity.

Our objective is for pupils to become confident communicators able to express their ideas, feelings, and cultural values. Pupils are taught the skills necessary to actively listen to others and to collaborate effectively with an international student body.

Our teachers create a supportive learning environment wherein our pupils can deepen their understanding of the world around them through play, observation, speech, creativity, and questioning of both adults and peers all while creating activities that will stimulate development and muscles, and provide opportunities for practice of fine-motor skills.

In Nursery and Reception (ages three to five), our approach is guided by the idea that:

  • Every child is unique and can be taught to be resilient, capable, confident, and self-assured;
  • Children learn to be strong and independent through positive relationships;
  • Children develop best in enabling environments in which there is a strong partnership between the school and parents or care-givers.

Key Stages 1 & 2 (Years 2 to 6)

The aim of our Primary school is to balance, the acquisition of essential knowledge and skills with the cultivation of the spirit of creativity and curiosity. In order to attain this balance students experience a well-rounded curriculum that promotes inquiry, critical thinking, communication, open-mindedness, and reflection. Pupils at this stage are encouraged to be independent thinkers and gain a responsibility for their actions and choices.

Through core subjects and foundation subjects students receive a fully curated education that creates a passion for learning, builds a strong general knowledge base, and provides an opportunity for pupils to attain a set of skills that will carry them through their educational path and eventually into being productive citizens in their community.

A school day runs from 08:15 to 15:00 for a total of seven periods lasting 45 minutes each.

Key Stage 3 (Years 7 to 9)

Moving into KS3 pupils are encouraged to develop their understanding of a range of studies in greater detail while also deepening their independence, resilience, and personal commitment.

A diverse offering of subjects allows pupils to develop a broad set of skills and knowledge and equips them with a passion for learning before they take a more active role in their choice of examination subjects.

In order to prepare and enhance students’ soft skills, frequent PSCHEE (Personal, Social, Citizenship, Health, and Economic Education) classes are provided to all students in these year groups; the aim being to strengthen community bonds within the school and to provide students with the skills necessary to collaborate and to succeed in the future.

A school day runs from 08:30 to 15:00 for a total of seven periods lasting 45 minutes each.

Key Stages 4 & 5 (Years 10 to 13)

During Key Stages 4 & 5, we equip pupils with all of the skills necessary to complete their school careers successfully and to provide them with the final steps toward further education and the wider world. Our small class sizes and experienced subject specialists allow pupils to have personalised and focused support across a wide array of curricula.
