These tests assess students’ progress during the initial stages of KS3, focusing on Maths, English and Science.
Cambridge Checkpoint Secondary examinations are taken at the end of Year 9 in English, Mathematics, and Science. These exams provide students, parents, and the school with a final diagnosis of students’ strengths and weaknesses before they continue onto IGCSE study in Year 10.
The tests are marked by Cambridge examiners and provide an external international benchmark for learner performance. Each learner receives a statement of achievement and a diagnostic feedback report.
