At Cambridge School of Bucharest we believe in the importance of Art and Music in enriching students’ learning throughout the school. A range of subjects are enhanced by their use of artistic and musical resources in encouraging students to access and explore course materials. This encourages our students to develop their creative engagement with the full range of subjects on offer.
Students begin studying Art from Year 1, and are taught to work with a variety of creative media and techniques from a young age. Through the subject, students also begin to familiarise themselves with the history of art, and with the works of several famous artists from a range of cultures and time periods.
Students from Year 1 have dedicated time to study music, as we believe learning a musical instrument or simply appreciating a broader range of musical genres develops a unique mind and spirit, and provides a source of joy and satisfaction that can last a lifetime.
Today has been the final day of a hugely successful Book Week!
