Cambridge School of Bucharest hosts and annual teachers' retreat in the hopes of fostering collegial relationships and to encourage professional development through team-building and training exercises. The purpose of these retreats is two-fold: One aim is to strengthen ties among the school's staff and to create an environment where teachers and staff are welcomed to share expertise and to offer inter-collegial support.
The second, and arguably most important, goal is to give our teachers and staff a much needed opportunity to relax, unwind, and enjoy each other away from the stresses of school. To that end, our retreats are held outside of the city in a location that lends itself to both physical and mental activity. We've had excellent participation in these events thus far and look forward to watching these efforts bear fruit in the future.
