External Examinations: PET and Checkpoint Primary & Secondary

PET (Year 6):

Cambridge English: Preliminary (PET) qualification shows that students have mastered the basics of English and now have practical language skills for everyday use.

Cambridge Checkpoint Primary (Year 7):

These tests assess students’ progress as they move into KS3, focusing on Maths, English and Science.

Cambridge Checkpoint Secondary (Year 9):

Cambridge Checkpoint Secondary examinations are taken at the end of Year 9 in English, Mathematics, and Science. These exams provide students, parents, and the school with a final diagnosis of students’ strengths and weaknesses before they continue onto IGCSE study in Year 10.

The tests are marked by Cambridge examiners and provide an external international benchmark for learner performance. Each learner receives a statement of achievement and a diagnostic feedback report.
